Koro Island Camp is particularly suitable for small family groups or friends. Its central living area is designed for dining, socialising, reading, or just lounging on one of the day beds and observing the wildlife pass by.
Its open plan kitchen allows you to enjoy watching our chef at work; even joining him if that would add to the enjoyment of your stay.
An intimate boma with a large open fire pit is the perfect place to sip your drink of choice while watching the river flow slowly around the camp, or in winter when the river is low, to see the otters and crocodiles hunting the big fish in the many pools that form.
You can also cool down in our rim flow pool during the hot summer months.
And if you want to escape into solitude and let the surroundings revive your spirit, a secluded meditation or yoga platform is located on the downstream side of the island.
