A short walk from your tent across the peninsula on which the camp is built brings you to Koro River Camp’s main dining and leisure facilities. You can dine inside during cold weather or relax at the bar in the company of a blazing fire. Most of the year though, dinner will be served on the deck overlooking the Limpopo River, or in the boma, seated around an open fire.
Occasionally, the dining room doubles up as an intimate classroom, with intriguing lectures and presentations on Tuli’s natural and cultural history - from the Boer War to our abundant birdlife – depending on your interests.
Our large lounge and library tent invites you to retreat with a book or lose yourself in the flames of a crackling fire, with a drink of your choice in hand…
In summer, temperatures rise quickly and your own plunge pool is a welcome escape from the heat. Located in front of each bedroom suite, its panoramic views of the Limpopo River are beaten only by the experience of seeing curious elephants wander up to the water, to investigate ‘their’ guests…
A visit to our small spa will ensure that the last, lingering stresses of modern life are massaged out of your limbs. Built under a magnificent Sycamore Fig Tree, your body and mind will fully relax as you look out over the river, or just close your eyes and drift.
On leaving us, you can buy an exclusive gift from our shop, stocked with art, jewelry, books to remind you of your stay.
